Awkward question on the Thai-Burma (r)

In a message dated 98-04-05 03:51:35 EDT, you write:

<<
As in: Why has the Thai army failed to stop the embarrassing incursions?

Are the DKBA intruders too good at evading the Thai army troops manning
numerous border outposts, or are Thai army personnel too weak to put up a
fight to defend the sanctity of Thai territory, or have the DKBA guerrillas
been given a green light by the Thai army to commit such outrageous acts?
  >>

No. None as above. Thai generals are actively seeking more businesses with the
Rangoon regime so that the Thai army allows the the Rangoon backed DKBA-Karen
to attack the refugees in Thai soil because the Thai generals intend to show
how they loyal to the SPDC's generals. Again, the Thai generals lives can be
changed or become wealther elite working for Burmese genarals even though it
is a bad job for them. Former general Chavalit who worked for the junta of
Burma in 1989 through 1997 was an example.
