TO THE PARTICIPANTS OF THE FOURTH UN WORLD CONFERENCE ON WOMEN:
ICHRDD has learned that Aung San Suu Kyi's message will not be
delivered in Beijing. Burma has refused to allow her speech to be
videotaped in order to bring to Beijing. ICHRDD asks that pressure
be put on the Burmese government and delegation in Beijing to
protest this action.
